I normally travel a lot collecting material for paintings from a wide range of locations. Lockdown put a temporary stop to that but provided the opportunity to produce a series of work based on the immediate district where I live in London. The result has been the “Battersea Park” Series. The cycle of seasons in different weather and times of day with the changes in colour and mood create a variety of visual stories. Ranging from stark, spare winter to leafy summer; from early morning raking light to shadowy late evening.

Studio visits can be arranged. Next Show is the Art Fair at Wimbledon Art Studios in May 2024. There are regular open studio shows in May and November.
